Accounting jobs today require expertise and the ability to communicate. By studying the Accounting program at Western Sydney University you will be provided the opportunity to think critically and communicate effectively with the business community through industry partnerships.
The Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) will equip you with an in-depth theoretical knowledge of accounting. You will gain knowledge, skills and expertise which will enable you to become a professional accounting practitioner.
The course teaches you accounting principles and procedures supported by theory in law, economics and finance. You will learn to apply accounting concepts, theories and models through a range of individual and collaborative means using a blended learning design that draws from industry relevant projects with exposure to realistic business problems.
This course requires successful completion of 160 credit points which includes twelve core units, and four elective units which can be chosen from any discipline available at Sydney City Campus.
